Lead Instructor

Nathaniel Marx was born in Pointe Claire, Quebec a suburb of the City of Montreal. Growing up in Dollard des Ormeaux Nathaniel was taught to skate by his Mother Anna Marie Marx, a figure skater and speed skater. Nathaniel played hockey for the Dollard Minor Hockey Association and for St. Thomas High School until the age of 18 at which time he decided to pursue a career in coaching. With 20 years of teaching experience, Nathaniel has touched many athletes at both the amateur and professional levels in North America and Europe.

Mike Viglas - Director of Hockey Montreal & Lead Instructor

Mike Viglas Director of Hockey at Perfect Skating Montreal. In this role Mike overseas all 10wk PS and SAM Programming of our West Island and Montreal Centre locations! In addition to overseeing the development of our athletes, he also leads all training and development of our coaching staff. Mike is recognized as the top On-Ice Movement and Performance Coach in the Montreal Area. Michael Viglas was born in Baie d’Urfe Quebec a suburb of Montreal. Growing up Michael played hockey for his local association. At the age of 21 he transitioned into coaching and joined a company called Hockey Nadeau/Leblanc which he was associated with for over 8 years. During that time Michael ran local school programs as well as became the lead skating & skill development coach. Upon transitioning into a new career as a Financial Security Advisor with London Life Michael has joined our team on a part time basis adding his passion and love of the game to our Perfect Skating Montreal West team.

Kyle Armstrong - Perfect Skating Manager & Lead Instructor

Kyle Armstrong Manager & Lead Instructor of our Montreal West island and Centre locations. He is an instrumental part of all of our Semi Private 10 & 20wk PS and SAM Programs. A graduate of Concordia University Kyle is a fun energetic coach that athletes really enjoy training with! Always trying to up his game he truly is a passionate studier and practitioner of On-Ice Movement. Kyle grew up playing for the Lakeshore Minor Hockey Association and attended John Rennie High School for five years in the Sport-Etudes hockey program. Played for the Lac St Louis Lions in the 2007-08 season & were Telus Challenge Champions. Attended Salisbury School from 2008 to 2010 & were New England Division 1 Champions in the 2008-09 season and was named captain for the 2009-10 season. After playing one year for the Brockville Braves in 2010-11, attended Concordia University and played for the Stingers for four years and was the assistant captain for the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons. After taking a year off to get ACL reconstruction surgery, played one year of professional hockey for the Ulm/Vfe Devils in the Landesliga in Ulm, Germany & was the team’s leading scorer with 44 points in 23 games.
